गृह विभाग ने 10 जनवरी को सीबीडीटी की रिपोर्ट सचिवालय भेजकर आगे की कार्रवाई करने की अनुमति मांगी थी केंद्र सरकार ने 8 जनवरी को तीनों आईपीएस अफसरों के खिलाफ अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई की अनुमति दी थी
